As you will see, it is a little strange that someone who did not go in the water once in 2022 has a page called beaches! This is a really boring page, I am just going to show you the pictures I took on the beaches. It is kind of like Uncle Shom, he took the pictures so he wants to show them to someone!
After you get really bored, be sure and skip to the end and take a look at them running the beach through a strainer, We have no idea why.
Have to start somewhere. This is my beach.
Friday after lunch. The beach curves around and then ends in a break water. This is where I first swam in Cancun.Same beash, the next day, Saturday.Sunday. You can see the young woman has noticed that I am taking photos and has started to pose, NOT.This is the street scene leading from Surfin to what I call My Beach.Same day, Monday, this is the alley that leads from the boardwalk to the beach. The hotel and clubs would like to control beach access but every once in a K there is access like this.The Monday beach.and looking South. The hotels stretch out for miles.Tuesday, I have found a new beach!! This one is South of Surfin, I go here to take pictures before I go to lunch.We have a guard here!Looking South from what I call New Beach. I had never noticed this access just South of Surfin.After lunch. Of course this is My Beach. Looks like some weather may be building.Wednesday My Beach. No New Beach picture today. The weather looked too dark? or I was late getting to Surfin.Darker looking north!Thursday New BeachPretty empty, maybe the sky?Higher waves than normal.And one could imagine that there are more people in these My Beach pictures than in the New Beach pictures because it is 2 hours later in the day.Friday New BeachFriday My Beach. I seemed to have picked up a finger in the lens problem.It just gets worse!Saturday at New Beach. Heavy clouds and a few waves.Tourist Information sign at New Beach. I think the idea is that you are supposed to stay within the Beach Border flags.Saturday, My Beach. Pretty ugly sky!Appears a little brighter looking this way.Sunday New Beach, again clouds look ugly.Wonder if someone spent the night in that tent?Tuesday New Beach. I spent Monday in Porto Morales so no Cancun beach pictures.Tuesday afternoon at My BeachThere are some real waves.Wednesday at My Beach. Something really strange is being done.Someone is digging, big time, right where the people are supposed to sit. The public area is actually fairly small and they have dug up all of it?Wednesday at My Beach. No digging here. Note the yellow flag. If the waves are bigger, it is red.This is Thurssay new beach.Men are using a rectangle of mesh screen to sift the sand they have dug up. I show all this to Daniella at Surfin and in the tradition of help the tourists she explains that they are building habitat for birds. NOT You don’t build a habitat for rare birds in the one 60 foot of public sand on a 1K beach!. We decided they are just cleaning the sand.Thursday, onto My Beach.
