Here is the EBO Hotel.
I was in Wuhan for 4 nights and lived in a highrise for the last 3. But, for the last 10 nights I had been in small Inns and a Hostel. One took the elevator to like the 5th? Floor and then the Hotel existed from there up.
You do not often get to see a room before I have trashed it. Usually I forget to take pictures of the room in the beginning or I am too tired or stressed upon first arrival.
I kind of liked the wood around the door?
The buttons to control the room were really over my head.
I jad to use the flashlight on the phone to read them and even then had to go to the front desk to clarify exactly how to operate the room. The fan was a little more self explanatory.
And the Wifi certainly was easy!
Below with me you will get to enjoy my first Chinese hotel breakfast. I’m sorry that you can only get to look at it. Chinese Hotel Breakfast is among the great things in life. The sad news is that I was on my way down as far as Chinese Breakfast was concerned. My greatest breakfast in China took place on my first morning in Wuhan, but you have to read the Wuhan Lee entry to hear that sad story.
So here we go, just one station after another:
Empty bowl
Wuhan Lee had taught me the breakfast noodle drill. Somewhere in the food area will be a man, usually with number plaques. You take a bowl, put the kind of noodles you want and the topping in it and give the bowl to him. He gives you a number and in a few minutes your steaming bowl reappears with your number on it. As with so many things in China, or anywhere, the new traveler just has to hang out and watch and hopefully seeing the drill, be it noodles or something else, will repeat itself enough times so one can make a fair approximation at repeating the steps for yourself.
The below chargers were all over, at least in the towns near Shanghai. I still can not with confidence tell you how they work. We all know about external battery packs to charge your phone. I think that is what this is. You put in the battery pack you have that is depleted and get out one that is already charged?
At first I though people were putting their phones in, but that makes no sense.
