Under Construction
For the second year I lived at the Guest House Casa a Sul. Here are the pictures from the web site of my wonderful room on the ground floor.
And here are the pictures I took on the last morning:
I though mine would be even more of “what a mess” but they really look ok. I had forgotten to take the shots until I was all packed to leave Monday morning so that really helped with cloths being contained. Daughter Elizabeth knows I am famous for rearranging hotel room furniture but I really do not have to do a lot at Casa a Sul.
In 2016 I used an airbnb. But I am pretty alone in Lagos. Valentina and Baffi Bar provide a great home but it is wonderful if I can also meet people staying at my guest house. The first couple days Dianna and Archie were at Sul with their daughter and her husband Eric. It was fun to talk to them and hear what they were up to but I could not get them to come to Baffi. Eric and the daughter even rented bikes the last day but I did not really get to talk to them about their experience.
A couple days later this couple appeared:
I could hear them but only got to talk to them as they were leaving. The picture is a good story. I returned to Lisboa for 1 day after leaving Lagos. I had been to my beer bar and was on my way to dinner. The woman and I crossed paths somewhere wondering the Lisboa streets and our eyes met. Then an hour or so later we ran into each other again and this time we remembered where we had seen each other and I captured this image. They are Germans, just our traveling for a week or so.
