From Microfilm held at the Bowdoin College Library
Sorry the scanning is not as good as it could be. I am just learning to use the college equipment. Your Browser has a way to ZOOM that might or might not make the image more readable. The artile is not complete. I did not get to copy the third column, or rather I copied only part of it! Actually, I have no idea how long the article is! The image also "changes" width about 1/2 way down. I purposely put in a "double" line at that ponit so you will see what happens. Lots more coming! If you would like to take a trip to Brunswick Maine, you can aquire a new skill!
Also, in order to really be useable as part of the SIHS collection, this artical needs to be transcribed. Then people can search on the topics and names in the article. Right now the article is just an image, it can't be searched. To make it searchable, you just type each line. If you are interested, please let me know before you begin so that someone does not duplicate your wonderful hard effort. I also encourage you to maintain the line breaks as they occur in the document. In other words you type

Instead of typing:

My reason for maintaining what I think they call "Ledding", the line breaks, is that doing so makes proof reading and finding an actual word much easier. I know it drives many people nuts!
