Agra and the Taj Mahal

Tuesday October 30 at like 7am we are off to Agra and the Taj Mahal with a new driver. At first we are on divided highways but then as we approach The Taj Mahal, the roadside is more and more built up:

For the first time we will be meeting up with the groom and his family. The Taj definitely lives up to the hype.

From right to left in the foregroud we have Uncle Bill, Elizabeth, Groom Billy and Groom’s father Tony

And finally off to lunch with the whole gang.

Very interesting that it came on a tray like this. Hopefully you notice the Kawanhee t-shirt. I got no comments on it, seems there were no members of that particular community at the Taj today. Really the only t–shirt that did get a comment was a GO shirt in the hotel in Goa. A man with his family at a breakfast table asked if I played the game. He was eastern European.

Onto Fort Agra with the entire family group. Tony, father of the groom and our very good guide.

Tony again with the groom, my daughter Elizabeth and the guide.

Monkeys all over the place.

Wife Kim and the guide.

Mother of the groom, Patty is in the forgroud with her back turned and the groom’s twin sister, Nora, is in the red top at the right of the group.
