My idea is to curate for you an introduction to the people I have met (ONLINE ONLY) who blogged about walking the AT in 2022 from Springer Mt. Georga to Mt. Katahdin Maine. My aim is to give you a glance that might encourage you to join me in watching their trips and the trips for 2023 and beyond,
Lets me introduce my first hiker. I don’t know her “muggle” name. Her tail name, as you will hear, is Groceries. Her Youtube account is Adventure Quencher. Her style is different from the other hikers below. She talks more to people on the trail and talks more about what is happening to her.
Next is the end of Groceries hike. I do add on a video about post hike depression that she shot after leaving the trail
Out next actor blogs (they often refer to them as Vlogs for Video Blogs) under the name of KNA Outdoors. Allow me a short diversion. Appellation through hikers often start their video blogs before they start their hikes. They post an “intention to do so”. They might post a “gear” video. At some point, usually in the first weeks of their hikes, they acquire a trail name. Since they have already established the Youtube account under one name, it is not reasonable for them to go back and rebrand themselves under a trail name. Soooo, we end up with most hikers having three names, a real name, a youtube video blog name and a trail name. KNA Outdoors trail name is Throttle,

Onto the second person. Jay Wonders Off is his youtube name, I don’t know what his trail name is. Hard to imagine he did not have one? Here he is starting at Springer Mt Georgia Jan 28, 2022. His tag says # 41!
and below Jay is finishing August 28, 2022 at Katadin. Before the actual summit day footage, you will see him meeting up with his partner, Tina. Her trail name is Pocket Rocket. She started after 1/28/22 but was able to catch Jay. There is a lot of talk about her Triple Crown. Before this completion of the AT, she had already in previous years, done the Continental Divide Trail (CDT), and the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT).
Next we have Youtube name Hiking Dancer, trail name Road Runner. Her “Muggle” name is Julian, (On the trail they call us non-hikers muggles.) Parents do not have a favorite child. Teachers do not have a favorite student. Enough said. Here is Road Runners start video.
