So, what does all this cost?
Generally, I know from experience that to travel at my level is about 1500 a week. Less in LA as I am staying at my daughters, more in China, especially the first year 2019. I hope I can get the China more in line on a second 2020 trip. Cancun and Portugal tend to be a little less expensive.
I don’t take the time to break it all down. If you are interested, just ask and I will send the details. The credit card takes most of the food. I use cash for colectivo, taxi, etc. Figures are all in dollars though of course you should always charge in peso.
370 for delta flight with no seat reservation, bags etc.
430 for 2 weeks at Airbnb
350 for the bike rental
250 cash
1400 on the credit card
So, the 2020 total is 2800 for 2 weeks. As you can tell from my writing, a real margin my mind!
